The Fitnex R50-S recumbent exercise bike is a great innovation, incorporating a swing arm design which allows for easy access.  You can choose to have the monitor in front of you or you can swing it out to the side if you want an uninterrupted view ahead.  This bike looks good, it is simple to operate, and has 16 levels of resistance across 6 different programs, so lots to keep you going and enjoying your exercise sessions.

We offer our best recumbent exercise bike reviews on a number of different makes and models.  This Fitnex R50-S has only had 5 reviews read on it so far, which is fine as you can get a flavour for how good it is considered to be.  Of the 5 reviews read, four of them are at the maximum rating of 5*, the other rating was a 1*.  Firstly let’s start with the negative to get that out of the way, it is purely a shipping issue, so absolutely no fault of the bike!

Now to the positives, all shipped well and received packed without damage.  The product was easy to assemble although the instructions could have been a bit better.  The swing arm design is a major positive, some really do prefer to watch the TV rather than the console.  It is quiet to use, is comfortable and is well built.  There is plenty going on with this bike to enjoy, and it will be interesting to see if any future reviews continue to fall into the 5* category.

The LED display console is attached to the swing arm so you can easily keep track of your data, such as speed, calories burned, rpm, watts, average speed, distance, time, program level and heart rate.  Alternatively you may prefer not to watch the console and therefore you can swing it out to the side, you may prefer to admire your view or watch TV whilst cycling instead!

You have 16 magnetic resistance levels, and you can choose from 6 different program choices, these include manual, rolling, weight loss, interval, and heart rate control.   You can use the contact heart rate grips to help monitor your heart performance.

After lots of research, I selected the Fitnex R50-S. We are very pleased with it. It is very solidly built – and heavy. The display and controls are easy to use.  This type of exercizer (recumbent bike) is feeling very good. Better movement and less stress on knees than jogging, running, or even walking.
