The only negatives that I have found on this particular bike were from a number of people who had experienced problems during the shipping when they bought from Amazon. The main issues being in that the boxes had been damaged.

Some people stated that during a workout the seat was a little uncomfortable. This however can be overcome by either replacing the seat, or putting a covering on it

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was very apprehensive about ordering this bike. I spent several days researching other recumbent bikes, but was unable to find one that offered comparable features at this price point.  All of the components were securely packaged in styrofoam and the small pieces (nuts, bolts & washers) were shrink-wrapped to a piece of cardboard.  The walk-thru design makes it easy to get on the bike, and the seat adjustment is easy to work and operates smoothly. The angle of the seat and position of the handles makes for a very comfortable ride. We offer our best recumbent exercise bike reviews on a number of different makes and models.  This Fitnex R50-S has only had 5 reviews read on it so far, which is fine as you can get a flavour for how good it is considered to be.  Of the 5 reviews read, four of them are at the maximum rating of 5*, the other rating was a 1*.  Firstly let’s start with the negative to get that out of the way, it is purely a shipping issue, so absolutely no fault of the bike!

Now to the positives, all shipped well and received packed without damage.  The product was easy to assemble although the instructions could have been a bit better.  The swing arm design is a major positive, some really do prefer to watch the TV rather than the console.  It is quiet to use, is comfortable and is well built.  There is plenty going on with this bike to enjoy, and it will be interesting to see if any future reviews continue to fall into the 5* category.

There were no major negative points, two had a delivery issues, one had problems with the seat positioning and adjustment, although others have said the seat was easy to adjust.  The final negative point mentioned was that it would have been preferred to have resistance on the hand and foot pedals simultaneously, it appears that you only get resistance on the hand pedals when you are not cycling with the foot pedals. However one person was pleased by this as they felt they may hit their knees on the handlebars if they were to do both equally at the same time!
